Your back needs the added support a footrest can provide and your feet should NOT be angled, toes pointing down.  The 3M adjustable footrest helps properly position and support you.

Foot rests encourage proper body posture, reduce strain and fatigue on the legs, back and neck. This 3M designed foot rest is constructed of heavy gauge steel and has an exclusive 3M Safety-Walk slip resistant material on the platform that keeps feet from slipping and keeps the base firmly in place. The platform size, 22" w by 14"d is considerably larger than other foot rests, allowing more comfortable movement of feet and legs while staying on the foot rest.

The average platform size is shown above within the line area. The extra-wide platform is more comfortable, allowing for more natural foot movement.

 Height adjustment (4" to 4 ¾") and angle adjustments (up to 30º) are independent to help you achieve proper body alignment.
