Do you need an
5" or 8" attachment for your Podium?

The 5" and 8" attachments.
Podium attachments add length to the pneumatic tube to
start the point of lift at a higher place. A 5" lifts starts 5"
higher then the standard range without the attachment, 8" higher for
an 8" lift an so forth. The attachments can be used singularly or in any combination
and are meant to be used as an everyday option. The tight fit between the
attachment and height adjustment cylinder keeps the
Podium sturdy at any height.
Without any attachments the Podium will adjust from 21-1/2 to 31-1/2 inches. Our attachment sleeves can increase that ten-inch height adjustment range in five and eight inch increments. For example: using the eight-inch attachment sleeve the height range of ten inches is 29-1/2 to 39-1/2 inches. Determining whether someone uses an attachment will depend on the AKP 's intended use. For sitting, the user's computer setup and whether one needs to adjust the top down to store under a desk, will determine if an attachment sleeve is needed.

In the workplace there are many uses for the AKP when attachment sleeves are used. By using two eight-inch attachments, the AKP will adjust from 37 1/2 inches to 47 1/2 inches and now becomes quite versatile in the workplace.
Here are several uses:
-- Presentations with or without a computer or laptop. The AKP can
be used in a flat profile to hold the keyboard and mouse or laptop and the
height adjustment can bring the top right up to anyone's elbow level. The
ability to to face your clients or employees with easy access to your equipment makes your
presentation more effective.
-- For classroom instruction. Instructors/teachers need more freedom
when addressing a group while accessing their keyboard and mouse. Turning their back and leaning down to access the keyboard can be annoying to the group and instructor.
-- In computer rooms. Too often the rack-mounted accessories are inadequate.
Network analysts use the rolling AKP that allows them to hookup their
laptop to various hardware when working on a network problem. |
