A hand surgeon's answer to computer associated Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: "Take the pressure off."

Here’s a clinically tested method to relieve hand and wrist numbness associated with keyboard and mouse use.

The new, SoftFlex glove. Developed by a hand surgeon, patent pending SoftFlex gloves are based on the theory that computer associated Carpal Tunnel Syndrome differs from traditional CTS. Traditional CTS stems from repetitive motion overuse resulting in inflammation, swelling and damage to the nerves along the carpal tunnel. This is different, theorizes SoftFlex, than computer associated CTS where the injury is further up on the wrist rather than along the Carpal Tunnel. Computer associated CTS comes from concentrating the weight of the arms and hands directly on a highly vulnerable two square inches at the writs over the unprotected median nerve. Here, the first goal is to maximally protect the nerve from contact pressure trauma before it starts.

The result: SoftFlex gloves have two especially designed cushions paralleling both sides of the median nerve at the wrist. During keyboard or mouse use, when you rest your wrists, these cushions absorb and divert the external pressure away from the media nerve.

The comfortable spandex SoftFlex gloves work without restricting motion. Available in five sizes: extra- small, small, medium, large and extra large and in black, tan and blue colors.
