How to use your mouse bridge.

Mouse Bridges are designed to be placed over the numeric keypad on a keyboard.

All Mouse Bridges can be used with Optical Mice if you use a mouse pad or if you order a mouse bridge made out of Optical Mouse Material.

Information by model

The Standard Mouse
Bridge (MB)

Place the standard mouse bridge over the numeric keypad without any adjustments. The highest side should be behind the keyboard with the "cut-out" on the bottom left.

The Flat Mouse Bridge (FMB)

  1. Adjust the computer keyboard to the desired positive or negative tilt angle

  2. Position the Mouse Bridge on the right side of the keyboard to cover the numeric keys with the "cut -out "corner on the bottom left.

  3. Find a clear space at the rear of the keyboard suitable for the two rear bumpers to rest without interference and as close to the edges as possible for stability.

  4. Identify a clear space for the two front bumpers to rest without interference and as close to the edges as possible.

Remove the Mouse Bridge, peel the backing off the bumpers and attach them to the front and rear undersides of the Mouse Bridge.

The Side Adjustable Mouse Bridge (SMB)

  1. Remove the two screws and two bumpers from the bag.

  2. Position the Mouse Bridge so the screws are on the far right side of the keyboard over the numeric keypad; as close to the edge as possible. Find a clear space so you can place the two bumpers without interference. (Bumpers are placed on the underside opposite the side that takes the screws.)

  3. Remove the backing from the bumpers and affix the bumpers to the underside of the Mouse Bridge.

  4. Install a single small screw at the right front of the Mouse Bridge

  5. Install a single large screw at the right back of the Mouse Bridge.

Rotate both screws so the Mouse Bridge is stable on the desk work surface.

Note 1: You can also place the Mouse Bridge on the left side of the keyboard to suit a left handed operator.  The screws will need to be reversed for this set-up.
Note 2: If your keyboard design is such that the Mouse Bridge is too high at the front, remove the small screw in the front and allow the Mouse Bridge to rest upon the bumper portion.
Note 3: If a negative angle is required to suit the keyboard, reverse the screw locations such that the large screw is in the front & the small screw is in the back.

The Rear Mouse Bridge (RMB)

  1. Position the Mouse Bridge on the right side of the keyboard to cover the numerical keys.

  2. Remove the two screws from the bag and rotate them into the two holes on the back of the Mouse Bridge.

  3. The side of the Mouse Bridge with the screws should be placed behind the keyboard. The screws can be adjusted to suit the keyboard height.

The Universal Mouse Bridge (UMB)

The Universal Mouse Bridge can be used with various keyboards and  has a longer mousing area than the other Mouse Bridge styles. The UMB gives you 10" of mousing space from front to back (length) and 5" from right to left (width).  The Mouse Bridge has two adjustable bars on the bottom making it a universal fit for most keyboards.

It is only available in black and has a textured surface for use with an Optical Mouse.

  1. Adjust the computer keyboard to the desired positive or negative tilt angle.

  2. Position the Mouse Bridge on the right side of the keyboard to cover the numerical keys.

  3. The two bars on the underside can be adjusted to accommodate the keyboard. One bar should rest on the front side of the keyboard and the other should rest towards the back of the keyboard.
